This weekend I consolidated thebws and a number of other domains onto one new host.  I'm really excited about what this move means.  If you host files here, use email, or help me develop software, there are some great improvements and more are on the way. For now, there are some important things you need to know.

• Email (POP): UP.  Addresses and passwords are the same.
  • New POP and SMTP servers:
    • pop.thebws.com
    • smtp.thebws.com
  • Please remember, as before your login is your full email address, like blahblah@thebws.com
• Webmail: UP.
  • New location: http://webmail.thebws.com
• User File Manager: UP.
  • New location: http://users.thebws.com.
  • Logins/passwords are the same.
  • I've also increased storage space per account from 2-->50GiB :)
  • I'm currently testing a few new file managers, if any of them are significantly better I'll be switching everyone over.
  • IMPORTANT: I cannot mod_rewrite the old paths, so if you're statically linking to files, they will be broken!  Please update your links.  Apologies. I've redirected 90+% of the links, if your filename uses strange UTF-8 or international characters, you will have to change any static links to the new address.
• Bug Tracker: UP.  Everything should be the same.
  • Nightlies from 5/7/2010 are currently not available.  I'll check on the activity for that night and restore them if necessary.
• VDC & MMD pages: DOWN.  These won't be back until Drupal 7 is released, more info later.
• Main blog: DOWN.  Running here on Drupal 7-alpha4, but won't be public until 7 is released.
• Uploads: UP.  Running new version.
  • Check out the new AJAX progress bar and improved sort
• OpenID Server: UP.  No changes.

I think that's it for now.  I've tried hard not to move things around, and when I had to, I've used redirects or mod_rewrites to keep the URLs you're familiar with.  One important exception is the User File Manger -- please see the note above.  If I haven't mentioned something here, it's pretty safe to assume there has been no change. If you encounter problems or need password resets etc.  please contact me directly, not by leaving a comment here!
